I get so much done when I am busy avoiding getting other stuff done. Here’s my new sprouting station, in the faux window over my kitchen sink, lit by flourescent spots. Jars contain a new batch of mung beans, alfalfa sprouts (in the big jar, as M loves them) and clover sprouts. Broccoli sprouts are a hard sell but I mix them in with the milder ones…
Egglands best eggs have a clear carton that nests down into its cover. It can be a water reservoir too, to rinse sprouts and empty every day , if you poke holes in each egg compartment. You could start a batch a day to have a progressive harvest, and pull out the “plug” of used stems after a few haircuts.
Poke holes all over the bottom of a loaf pan with a toothpick, and set it into its plastic cover. You can fill it with wheat for sprouting wheatgrass to juice (for that fresh bottom-of-the-lawnmower taste, lol) and fill the whole thing with water to soak overnight,
